Bills proposing licensing,corporations,William E Borah,Joseph A. O'Mahoney,1937

Title: Back Senate bills proposing licensing of corporations operating in interstate commerce. Washington, D.C., Nov. 26. Both Senators Joseph A. O'Mahoney (left) of Wyoming, and William E. Borah, of Idaho, have introduced bills in the Senate requiring that corporations which operate in interstate commerce take out federal charters. The bills are aimed to reach objectives of NRA and the pending Wage-Hour Bill--that is, fair-trade practices in industry and protection of the worker from over-long hours and oppressive wages--but in a simpler fashion. Senators Borah and O'Mahoney are seeking agreement on the form of a bill, with the aim, if possible, of merging their individual measures, 11/26/37
