Caption from caption list: George L. Baum who has been for 35 years employed as a mail collector in Washington. For 25 years he has been riding this tricycle although some years ago the Department furnished him with an automobile. He was the first collector to use an automobile in Washington but after driving it for a short time asked to go back to his tricycle.
