The text is a ballad conveying the tribulations of a thief who is exiled from Mexico. On the verso there is a bust-length figure of a woman, pen in hand. The text consists of three songs titled: 'Memories and farewell, a song from Veracruz,' 'New zarzuela couplets, in between happenings,' and 'The sultan-ness, cousin Concha's dance.'
