Summary: Drawing shows a costume design for The Sleeping Princess [i.e., Sleeping Beauty] ballet showing a lady of the court and her page. This production was first performed by the Ballets Russes in London at the Alhambra Theatre, on November 2, 1921. The Music Division acquired this drawing in 1984 from the collection of dancer, choreographer, and ballet master Serge Lifar.
