Summary: A satire on the diplomatic situation in 1794, showing French soldiers shooting at raging bull, and saying 'Vive la republic, Blood & plunder, no quarter to John Bull!' To the bull's back is strapped a bundle inscribed 'Debt Debt' and to its hind leg is chained a heavy weight inscribed 'Subsidies.' Behind the bull, England's allies turn their backs and depart down roads marked by signposts.
