Photographs show views during the flight from the Air Force Flight Test Center at Muroc, California, to Mitchel Field at Garden City, Long Island, New York; cloud-covered Pacific coast; Grand Canyon; Alamosa, New Mexico; Hoover Dam; Kansas City; Columbus, Ohio; Allegheny Mountains; and New York City harbor.
