Summary: Color and black and white photomechanical postcards mostly depict landscapes and historic sights in the Southwest. Indian-related images includes Hopi, Navajo, Zuni, and other Pueblo Indians daily life and dwellings; dances and ceremonies; ancient ruins and a sun temple at Mesa Verde National Park; and a cemetery at the site of the Battle of Litte Big Horn, Custer's battlefield (Montana). Individual portraits include Geronimo [Apache], Quanah Parker [Comanche], Red Tomahawk [Sioux], Kiowa Anna, and Granny Houston [Wichita]. Also includes Blackfeet Indians at Glacier National Park and an image of three Seri men with bows and arrows from Tiburon Island.
