Summary: Broadside shows bust portrait of Father Miguel Hidalgo in an oval medallion at center of sheet. Text surrounds the image in a square, celebrating Mexican Independence. On the verso are two images of Mexican soldiers on horseback. The upper image is titled, 'Los Rurales. Biografía y origen de la formación de estos cuerpos.' There is a patriotic song at the bottom of the verso.
