Summary: World War I cartoon shows a Russian peasant labeled 'Bolsheviki' holding a birdcage containing a wounded dove. A partially seen figure wearing a German cross, points a gun at the peasant with one hand and directs him to sign a document labeled 'Peace Terms' with the other. The peasant protests, 'And this is ALL I get?' On March 3, 1918, the Bolshevist Russian government was forced to sign the humiliating Treaty of Brest-Litovsk with the Germans under which they lost considerable territory.
